World Bureau Launches Information Design Unit
Washington, DC – The World Bureau today announced the launch of Information Design, an information product development consultancy serving publishers and business. "This new entity will focus our increasing work in developing new online data products and web applications," said Randy Miller, who will head Information Design. "We increasingly are being called on to develop web-based product concepts, define product content, and establish research and updating systems and tools.

World Bureau Sells PracticeAdvance to CQ Press
Washington, DC – The World Bureau today announced the sale of its Practice Advance legal marketing product line to CQ Press. Practice Advance includes Marketing Monitor, an updated database of law firm marketing activities, and International Trade Monitor, a database of trade and customs client representations and trade marketing activities. CQ Press plans to develop an extended line of products, beginning with Government Relations Monitor and Securities Monitor. The World Bureau will continue to work with CQ Press in developing and updating these products.

World Bureau Releases Results of Trade Practice Study
Washington, DC – The World Bureau today released key findings from its 2005 International Trade Practice Report. The report shows continuing growth of Washington trade practices, with 30 firms numbering over 10 attorneys and 12 firms greater than 20 attorneys and professionals.

World Bureau Introduces Online Service for Trade Lawyers
Washington, DC – The World Bureau today announced the release of a new online service for international trade lawyers, called International Trade Practice Advance. Developed for practicing lawyers, the database includes detailed, up-to-date data about thousands of trade clients and matters, as well as data about the capabilities, clients, and marketing activities of other international trade practice groups.

Washington, DC -- The World Bureau today announced the sale of its international government directory products to CQ Press, a leading publisher of government information based in Washington. "Our mission is the development and sale of new professional information products," said Randy Miller, president of The World Bureau. "We are very pleased that this directory line has evolved to the point that it is attractive to a publisher with Congressional Quarterly's stature.

The World Bureau Launches World Powerbase, The First Online Global Government Database, And Acquires Three Global Government Directories to Enhance Content

Washington, DC -- The World Bureau, a Washington-based publishing company, today announced the expansion of its global government directory products with the introduction of World Powerbase, the first online database of the world’s governments, leadership and staff. WB also is acquiring three publications including Worldwide Government Directory. “Our goal is to create the definitive directory and guide to the world’s governments,” said Randy Miller, president of The World Bureau. “We have spent two years developing our internet application and editorial system. We have merged the 6,200 pages of data in our five print directories into a sophisticated database available to our subscribers at their desks.
